Click the "Add to Discord" link during setup or use the install link directly. You'll be prompted to select your Discord server and authorize the bot. You need the "Manage Server" permission in the Discord server to install it.

Jerboa has built-in commands for Minecraft, Rust, ARK: Survival Evolved, ARK: Survival Ascended, CS2, CS:GO, Counter-Strike: Source, Left 4 Dead 2, Team Fortress 2, and Garry's Mod. Pro tier users also get raw RCON passthrough, which lets you send any RCON command directly — so Jerboa works with any game that supports the RCON protocol, even if it's not on the built-in list.

RCON (Remote Console) is a protocol built into many game servers that lets you send admin commands remotely over a network connection. Instead of being physically at the server console, you authenticate with a password and run commands from anywhere. Jerboa connects to your server's RCON port and executes commands on your behalf, directly from Discord.

Yes. Each server registration requires its own key. Use /register once per game server, giving each one a unique nickname (e.g. "rust-main", "cs2-comp"). You can then target any registered server by nickname when running commands. Registrations are scoped to the Discord server they were registered from.

Basic ($1) covers essential commands: server status, player list, kick, ban, broadcast, restart, and the ability to update your server credentials. Advanced ($5) adds automated scheduling — set recurring restarts and broadcasts on a daily or weekly schedule, up to 25 schedules per server. Pro ($10) adds everything in Advanced plus raw RCON passthrough, with up to 50 schedules per server.

Your key is emailed to you automatically as soon as your payment is confirmed. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes. The email comes from noreply@keys.jerboa.gg.

If you've already used your key to register a server, you don't need it again — your registration is stored and your commands will keep working. If you lost the key before redeeming it, reach out in our support Discord and we'll help you out.

Yes. Once the bot is installed and a server is registered, any Discord member can use commands based on their Discord permissions. Kick requires the Kick Members permission, Ban requires Ban Members, broadcast and restart require Manage Guild, and raw RCON requires Administrator. Server admins can customize these per-role in Discord's Server Settings → Integrations.

Yes. Your RCON password is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before being stored — the same encryption standard used in banking. The plaintext password is never written to disk or logged anywhere. It's decrypted in memory only at the moment a command is executed, then immediately discarded. The encryption key itself is stored separately in AWS Systems Manager, not alongside your server data.
